Another point to the dumbing down of America. The author of this piece doesn't understand the difference between "lighting" and "lightning". It wasn't a typo because it was used three times in the article.

What have we wrought by graduating illiterates from high school, then letting them into colleges and giving them loans to "continue their education"?
